There is I think a away Arsenal could have got a positive result. The way to do it is have a more of a provincial side that is totally committed to the premiership league style .Next you impose this on foreign opposition and maintain it for the whole game Against Barcelona away from home very very difficult, depends on temperature, if its cool may be but playing on home soil present climate February then Arsenal have only them selves to blame. The result is Barcelona out classing their opposition. If you look back in history at successful generals and the like the element of surprise, the ability to adapt, and most importantly IMPOSIN their will and striking at the critical point. In short Arsenal failed to implement any of these and as a consequence Barcelona eventually imposed their will on foreign territory and won the game
Actually i dont get it. A guy who enjoys seeing barcelona play will defenitely like arsenal. Personally they are my favourite in bpl because they are similar in strong midfields and rapid full backs with possession style but sadly arsenal lacks in striking department on consistency. I was really scared in the first half with nacho closing off messi and arsenal looking dominant and i was waiting for 70th min like the bayern semifinal. Messi seems more of a midfilelder taking ball controlling tempo from behind. Arsenal deserved atleast 1 goal and that shows their lack in finishing department. Probably the best performance was from alexis who was top class.
