In this episode we see Paulo Dybala in one of his greatest performances during the 2014/15 season against Napoli. His team; Palermo were newly promoted from Serie B and were facing title contenders Napoli in this mini rivalry (Derby delle Due Sicilie). Dybala assisted the 2nd goal and set up the 3rd with a fantastic piece of skill and brilliant cross into the box which was headed down for a tap in. Although he didn't score he was an absolute menace in this one against one of Europe's elites. The game ended 3-1 and Palermo went on to stay in Serie A against all odds. The 21 year old finished the season with 13 goals and 10 assists in 34 games. Juventus signed him that summer for €40M and well, the rest is history!

“The Match That Made” is a new series that I'm experimenting with. The concept is to show the superstars of today, in their best performance of the season before they got signed to a top club. Of course 1 game doesn't make the player who they are today but those special performances are the ones that catch the eyes of world watching!
