Clubs competing in the knockout stage of the UEFA Champions League need to manage their squads across at least two competitions, as many clubs are still pursuing honors at home while playing for Europe’s top prize. ESPN FC’s Craig Burley discusses the importance of having a big, deep squad and assesses which teams left in the Champions League make the best use of their depth. Burley ranks his top five from the 10 betting favorites to win the competition, according to Caesars Sportsbook: Liverpool, Manchester City, Barcelona, PSG, Bayern Munich, Juventus, Real Madrid, Tottenham, Atletico Madrid and RB Leipzig.

Craig still hungover over the last night's party??

Hassam Butt says:

Lol. Real Madrid have by far the deepest squad.

ThePlayMaker says:

As a Barca fan, we shouldn't even be on that list lol.

Our attack consists of Griezi, Messi and Fati atm with Dembele returning in a few weeks. Our mid is just out of shape. And our defense is extremely thin as well (thank you Barto ?).

Andrew Mazzarolo says:

Deepest squad is def. NOT who spends the most money, look who juventus has acquired for free in the last few years….. emre can for free, sami khedira for free, rabiot for free, not to mention players before such as pirlo and pogba. Add to that some very astute buys, such as dybala from palermo for 30 million, who is now worth 80 million, and demiral, whose apparent value has doubled in half a season, then you have the ability to spend the big bucks on ronaldo, de light and higuain

JordanRoberts96 says:

In terms of our and out depth I’d go:

Man City
Juve
Real
Liverpool
PSG

Barca are nothing these days without Mesi. They have big names but all are old or aging

JET says:

People still sleep on real madrid ??

Jordan Davis says:

Liverpool does not have a deep squad.

Matheus Cerqueira says:

Liverpool have depth in all positions. Clyne is returning from from injury. Keita and Milner too. Minamino and Adrian fixed the holes in the squad

THE UR GHOST says:

Looked like he is drunk

Shahir AP says:

Bla,bla, bla Doesn't seem he just talked ,not analysis the squad

Andrew Charles says:

Why isn't Man Utd not in the list of top 5 in Europe? Oh sorry…they are not in the Champion's League….hahaha…. Lol.

Ollie Martinelli says:

The Juventus squad depth is absolutely ridiculous. Emre Can is the last choice midfielder at Juve, Bernardeschi, Costa, Ramsey, Dybala and Higuain just alternate around Ronaldo in attack. Buffon is probs the best back up keeper you can have, and even with Chiellini injured De Ligt and Demiral were kind of taking it in turns to play with Bonucci with Rugani to fill in for them. Such an unpredictable team as even after half a season there's really not a clear lineup, they change depending on other teams characteristics and player form.

IllMexican187 says:

In my opinion Juventus win champions this year.

leon cru says:

Man city ? Oh no ? no no no

Archerpool says:

Liverpool have about ten big injuries and City have one big injury and that means City have a better squad? Okay.

ARKADIP RATH says:

1. Manchester City
2. Liverpool
3. Real Madrid
4. Juventus
5. Barcelona

IKER MAN says:

What a joke….

Vinny says:

True as at today. The clubs with the deepest squad in Europe.

Cody says:

Liverpool aren’t deep, they’re just efficient
