SOUNDBITE (Italian)
MAURIZIO SARRI
Head Coach, Juventus
[On Ronaldo] “Let’s see. I talked with Cristiano the day before yesterday and he told me he was feeling great and would notify me asap if he feels any tiredness so that I can decide whether he needs to rest or not. We will check this game after game.”
[On Messi] “You are asking me a question about Lionel Messi, a world class player who has a contract with Barcelona. Any reply of mine wouldn’t be appropriate because if I was any Barcelona board member I would say: “What the heck does this Sarri want?”. So I’d rather not answer.”
[On Ramsey] “English football is completely different, they don’t care about all this tactical obsession like we do, they run free. So it is not easy for an English player to adapt to our football, at all. Besides he was recovering from a very bad injury that had sided him for many months. Now I have got the feeling he is growing from an athletic viewpoint and has the confidence to be able to settle in this kind of football. He is a player I have to take into account.”
