Finn IRELAND says:

Regardless of how he’s played Ronaldo has been a huge success for Juventus. Big revenue boost in terms of shirt sales and brand recognition as well as a major increase Juventus’s net worth

Mahesh Dotel says:

I dont know why this pussies are supposed to be called expert. Pathetic.

Martin Rosario says:

juve needs an attack minded coach, this whole sitting back defense after taking a lead doesnt work anymore in this day and age and its the whole serie a actually that needs to address this, they need to adapt

CRAZY Simbu says:

Rafael Mertin says:

bad question to begin with. Ronaldo was legendary in the CL knockouts, btw. Legendary. Epic stuff.

Pete w says:

Ronaldo is a member of a team. He was very successful.

Gervace Streete says:

Juventus needs 3 more Costa ,if they want to unleash the goal scoring machine side of CR7

Silver King says:

I'd say it's not a failure but compared to his time in madrid he went low. But again he broke records. Kinda in between success and failure.

Josfur Gaming says:

even after is entire carrear this pundits still criticize is hunger for goal. this dumb people…. if he was to make a pass every time he would not score over 600 goals in his carrear and provide us with some of the best goals ever in a football pitch you DUMB midget fanboys…….

Zarar khan says:

Jeventus strong his defence now

Shahid Afrridi says:

i watched atlanta vs juventus ,i think it was fixed you can whole match ronaldo shoot one time having clear chances but he passed ,fixed because atlanta can go to ucl

Fernando Fidalgo says:

So CR7 with Juventus win the Scudetto, Serie A player of the year and ESPNMESSIFC still asks this question despite the fact CR7 is 34, top scorer in the most defensive league in the world.

Namdor says:

14 goals less than what he's averaged over the last 3 years, same amount of games..SOO they are full of it, Oldaldo is past it 35 soon next stop China or the USA..

Daniyal Ghauri says:

He played surprisingly better, that's what he do ayyy

Gfresh844 says:

Top scorer in Serie A and winning the title should be the minimum for him. The fact he is set to be outscored by a 36 year old who plays for a mid table side makes his season a bit of a failure. That said, he can't be blamed for their CL exit, considering he scored 2 against Ajax.

DL 2201 says:

I hope this years UCL and WC 2018 taught people that football is a collective sport after all.
We all saw Portugal and Argentina immediately knocked out because they only rely on individual brilliance, we saw the finalists Croatia and France individually there are a few stars but they are collectively on another level
This years UCL Barca knocked out Messi surely won the tie, but no Liverpool had that collectivness and spirit to break Barcelona that only rely on Messi's brilliance this and past 7-8 years….

Oscar Martinez3 says:

Playing with Juventus for Ronaldo was like playing with crutches. And still brought the goals in serie A and Champions League.?

127 gezer says:

Great seoson for the start

Question Mark says:

It's so funny to see Messi fanboys hate on Ronaldo…A video that has NOTHING to do with Messi and they just cant help themselves. Hahaha

Anyways, the problem this year was Allegri and his boring and unimaginative tactics.

Ronaldo almost NEVER got any crosses into the box. That is just beyond stupid.

Rnbsoccerstar7 says:

Easy answer… CR7 success, Juve Failure!

Me Here says:

Has to be a failure. Only the 4th best goalscorer in Serie A despite playing by far for the best team in the league. Only the 5th best assister in the league. Dreadful dribbling, key pass, big chances created and through ball stats (once again). Most big chances missed in Serie A this season. Only 6 goals in the CL and crashing out in the quarter finals. Couldn't win Coppa Italia either even though Juventus have won it 4 times in a row. Both individually and collectively a failure.

Bart Allen says:

Interesting to see who manages him next year and how he gets on with him. Outstanding season by any stretch despite it being a world cup year and the fact that he also played in Kiev.

Garrick Kidd says:

Ronaldo is an attacker . he scored his goals . it was the defense that couldn't defend .

Ali Alriahneh says:

Can you just enable the captions?

fred salt says:

Success for CR7, more success for him next season. CR7 scored in the CL knockout stages anyway, he did his part. Hopefully he'll win CL next season.

Saif Chowdhury says:

3rd highest goal scorer and he is the player of the tournament, okay.

define crazy says:

The dude was the best player in Real Madrid which won 3 straight CL and won 4 of last 5. It was not a great season but it was a good season. He did score 5 Goals in last 3 CL games but his team gave up 3 goals to Ajax.
