Gazzetta Football Italia from Saturday 3rd June 1995. Featuring James Richardson’s interview with Gianluca Vialli & presentation of Gazzetta’s Player of the Season, highlights of Roma v Juventus and news & rumours of Roberto Baggio’s future with Juventus. Classic stuff.
Baggio went to AC Milan. Nobody predicted that here.
Bloom, Brackley and Wolstenholme. What a great line up ♥
R.I.P. Peter Brackley
RIP Mr Brackley
What a programme this was. Saturday morning highlights and live game sunday. Richardsons puns were great
can't beat a bit of Brackley! just wish he was on elevensports. f.i was fantastic!
What a player Lombardo was..
Makes you understand why Peruzzi was number 1 for so long. Terrible goalkeeping.
Padova used to get spanked every week yet never seemed to get relegated!
Remember going playing football with my mates after watching this every saturday pretending to be baggio or vialli…great days
I used to love this on a Sunday morning
I was 12 at the time lol
I used to play for a Sunday league team called Merton town when I was 16-20. Every Sunday I’d come home, shower, eat lunch and put this on. And fall asleep in the 2nd half. EVERY FUCKING TIME. I still miss those days…?⚽️??
oh my god………………………. that is all
Great football , the best players and a programme that had humour , was informative especially to a British audience who only saw teams like Roma & Juve when the European cup final was on live . Loved the commentary teams and great analysis by the likes of Ray "butch" Wilkins and Luther Blisset ,Plus the legend Ken wolstenholme and the anchor the wonderful James Richardson .
Aaah , the good old days …Seems like the stadia were packed at this time. Have ticket prices increased at seria A matches as they have in England ?
I was too young to appreciate the sunday games when i was 11, I swear every game was Milan beating an understrength Brescia side 1-0 and me and my dad would just fall asleep
Thanks for the upload – used to be a Saturday morning regular.
